South Shore Health Releases Details on Fall Flu Vaccines

This year, the start of flu season comes as we continue to manage the COVID-19 pandemic, making it more important than ever to get your flu vaccine.

The CDC recommends that all individuals 6 months of age or older receive the flu vaccine each year.

South Shore Health is ready to meet the vaccine needs of the South Shore community, and we anticipate increased demand for flu vaccines following the vaccine mandate for school-age children issued by the state of Massachusetts.

We're prepared to meet that increased demand with flu vaccines available at multiple locations across the South Shore.

  • Patients at South Shore Medical Center will be able to receive drive-thru flu vaccines in Kingston and Norwell, beginning September 26. In-clinic flu vaccines will also be available in certain cases. Appointments are required for all flu vaccines.
  • Patients of South Shore Medical Center can also book an in-office flu vaccination at our Quincy Center practice. Appointments are available Mondays (including early morning and evenings) and most Saturdays from 9AM-12PM.
  • Flu vaccines are available at all seven Health Express walk-in urgent care locations across the South Shore. No appointments are required.
