Continuing Medical Education

The purpose of the Continuing Medical Education (CME) Program conducted at South Shore Hospital is to provide educational opportunities to physicians that aim to enhance the quality of health care in our service lines. CME’s will be provided through varied formats, including lectures, live activities, performance improved, enduring materials, and case conferences. We expect to improve patient care by providing education to improve participant competence or performance or patient outcomes.

Graduate Medical Education

30 contracts for clinical rotations agreements in various stages of Medical Education and Graduate Education with major academic programs throughout Massachusetts, and all of New England, resulting in over 400 clinical rotations each year.
“Our Medical Education Program is so beneficial to medical students, especially those early in their training, because it gives them exposure to actual clinical scenarios and real-world experience," explains Kimberly Dever, MD, MBA, FACOG, Chair of Obstetrics and Gynecology, VP of Women's Health, and Director of Medical Education.
If you have any questions, please reach out to Louise McHale, GME Program Coordinator (lmchale@southshorehealth.org).
