Pediatrics now accepting new patients

We are pleased to announce that South Shore Medical Center is now accepting new pediatric patients of all ages, including newborns.

If you’re interested in having your child join our Pediatrics practice, please call 781-878-5200 to register and schedule your child’s appointment.

Five pediatric providers are currently accepting new patients: Matthew Hjort, MD; Kerri Buckley, CNP; Laura Kondrat, CNP; Molly Mazanec, CNP; and Caroline Smith, CNP.

Please note that we are not accepting new adult primary care patients at this time. We encourage you to check back in the coming weeks for updates. We will update our Primary Care page with any new information.

We are accepting new patients across many different specialties, including dermatology, endocrinology, OG/GYN, orthopedics, podiatry, physiatry, pulmonology, rheumatology, sports medicine, and urology.

We also offer obstetrical, gynecologic, and specialized women’s health care with providers from The Women’s Center of South Shore Medical Center.

Patients are responsible for their health insurance coverage and benefits. Please call the number on the back of your card if you have any questions about coverage. Need care after hours? Patients of South Shore Medical Center can call our main line (781-878-5200) 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to speak to a provider about non-life-threatening issues.

South Shore Medical Center has also been awarded Patient-Centered Medical Home status by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). This means a physician-led team provides for your healthcare needs, assuring that you get the care when and where you need it, in a manner and language that you understand.
