Adolescents & Teens

primary care

We're proud to provide care to your teens and young adults, whether they're just beginning their teen years or are ready to "graduate" from pediatric care.

Many of our pediatricians are parents of teenagers themselves, so we understand what it's like to navigate the highs and lows of the teen years.

Growing bodies require their own unique approach to health and wellness - we're here for you and your teen, whatever the need may be.

In addition, providing teens with the appropriate mental health resources is crucial during these formative years.

Our pediatricians are here for your teen, from same-day appointments for a sports injury to a pre-college physical exam.

Once your teens are ready to move on to more age-appropriate care, we'll be here to help set them up with our colleagues in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.

To become a patient, please fill out our New Patient Registration form. For helpful resources and other information, please see below. Current patients are welcome to log into MyChart to make an appointment, view lab results, message your care providers, and more.

Resources for Teens & Parents

At South Shore Medical Center, we believe that the COVID-19 is the best way to protect against severe illness and death.

We encourage all who are eligible to get vaccinated.

During the teen years, we recommend a physical one per year.

At South Shore Medical Center, we believe that vaccines save lives and encourage patients to remain current with their vaccines.
