Early Childhood

pediatrics

As your children get older, their health needs change as well - but we're here for you every step of the way.

The days of bimonthly check-ups for infants are replaced by school forms, sports physicals, and check-ups prior to leaving for summer camp.

We're proud to play a role in helping your children grow to live their healthiest lives and to provide assistance when any needs arise.

Our practices offer convenient hours, same-day appointments, on-site lab/x-ray services, and connections to specialists across South Shore Health if your child needs more advanced or specialized care.

To become a patient, please fill out our New Patient Registration form. For helpful resources and other information, please see below. Current patients are welcome to log into MyChart to make an appointment, view lab results, message your care providers, and more.

Resources for Parents

At South Shore Medical Center, we believe that the COVID-19 is the best way to protect against severe illness and death.

We encourage all who are eligible to get vaccinated.

The charts below provide information on dosage amounts for common childhood medicines, based on age/weight. These charts are for informational purposes, and are not meant as a substitute for advice from your child's pediatrician.

During the early childhood years, we recommend that your child has a well-child visit once per year.

At South Shore Medical Center, we believe that vaccines save lives and encourage patients to remain current with their vaccines.

View the CDC's recommended immunization schedule for school-age children and teens.
