Effective Monday, July 25, the Outpatient Lab inside the McKim Family Main Entrance will be open reduced hours.

The Friends of South Shore Health’s 2022 Kickin’ Up Country for Home Care event raised more than $28,500 to support Home Care services.

The October 20 signature event will raise money for Emergency Services at South Shore Health.

The new program is designed to provide intensive, structured care for individuals who need more support than traditional outpatient therapy, while still allowing participants to live at home and continue their daily routines.

As the largest presenting sponsor in the Gala’s history, the donation builds on McKim’s legacy of transformational giving.

Thomas McCarthy, ChFC®, AIF®, Managing Partner of KAF Wealth Management, was named a finalist for the Community Service Award from the Invest in Others organization, which honors financial advisors nationally for outstanding charitable work. In recognition of McCarthy’s service and commitment, the Invest in Others Charitable Foundation awarded $25,000 to South Shore Health in his honor.
