An Update on October 29 Ambulatory Operations at South Shore Health
Updated at 9 AM Oct. 29, 2021
The South Shore continues to recover from a powerful storm that hit the region October 26-27, leading to flooding, downed trees, and widespread power outages.
The safety of our patients and staff is our top priority — with that in mind, we've adjusted hours and operations at certain South Shore Health ambulatory care locations.
The adjustments below are current as of Friday, October 29, 2021.
South Shore Medical Center Kingston
Our Kingston practice is closed. In order to ensure uninterrupted access to care, Kingston patients will be seen at alternate locations Friday:
- All Kingston OB/GYN patients with appointments scheduled for Friday will be seen at the Women's Center of South Shore Medical Center. Patients will see the same provider they were scheduled to see in Kingston.
- Kingston Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Pediatric, and Specialty patients with appointments scheduled for Friday morning will be seen at South Shore Medical Center Norwell. Patients will see the same provider they were scheduled to see in Kingston.
All patients impacted by the changes above have been contacted.
Other South Shore Medical Center Locations
- Our Norwell practice is open. Patients should access Longwater Drive via High Street/Main Street.
