Kickin’ Up Country for Home Care is a Success!
It was an evening of dinner, line dancing and vying for a chance to win fabulous raffle prizes in support of the Home Care Division at South Shore Health! On Saturday, August 7, enthusiastic cowboys and cowgirls came together “As One” to attend the 17th annual Kickin’ Up Country for Home Care event.
This event is the signature fundraiser held by The Friends of South Shore Health and this year more than $20,000 was raised!
Held at the Pembroke Country Club, all proceeds help support the Home Care Division of South Shore Health, which provides hospice, visiting nurse and aide services.
Beautiful centerpieces by Hartstone Flowers helped set-the-stage for a lively evening which began with a “Wet-Your-Whistle” hour followed by a delicious buffet dinner.
Throughout the night, guests filled the dance floor and enjoyed live music by the renowned Jack Ash Band while DJ Yasmin kept things going between band sets. Attendees eagerly waited for the results of the fabulous raffle prizes while posing for pictures at the country-western themed photo booth.
