It was an evening of dinner, line dancing and vying for a chance to win fabulous raffle prizes in support of the Home Care Division at South Shore Health!

On Saturday, June 4, enthusiastic cowboys and cowgirls came together to attend the 18th annual Kickin’ Up Country for Home Care event.

This event is the signature fundraiser held by The Friends of South Shore Health and this year more than $28,500 was raised!

Held at the South Shore Country Club, all proceeds help support the Home Care Division of South Shore Health, which provides hospice and visiting nurse services.

Beautiful centerpieces by Hartstone Flowers helped set-the-stage for a lively evening which began with a “Wet-Your-Whistle” hour followed by a delicious buffet dinner provided by Raffael’s. Guests enjoyed a variety of desserts including sweet treats from Crumbl Cookies.

Throughout the night, the dance floor was filled with cowboys and cowgirls who enjoyed live music by the renowned Jake Ash Band while DJ Yasmin kept things going between band sets. Attendees eagerly waited for the results of the fabulous raffle prizes while posing for pictures at the country-western themed photo booth.

The Friends of South Shore Health would like to thank all of the sponsors who helped support this event, including The Old Fighter Memorial Golf Tournament, indus, Home Care Express, South Coastal Animal Health, Cynthia Christian in memory of John B. Christian, Beyond Dental Health, Brady’s Liquors Inc., Cathay Center, Jimmy’s Broad Street Diner, New England Wellness Solutions, Priscilla Beach Theatre, Duval’s Pharmacy, Grove Manor Estates, Luke’s Liquors, Richmond Hardware, Senior Helpers – South Shore and Boston, South Shore Gymnastics Academy and The Snug – Hingham.
