Expert Care for Minor Emergencies
South Shore Health's Urgent Care Centers allow you to see a doctor without an appointment for injuries and minor illnesses. Urgent care is for injuries and illnesses that need the attention of a doctor but not necessarily the emergency room. From kids with a cough, teenagers needing sports physicals, adults with a broken bone, asthma, pneumonia, lacerations, cuts, or fractures, we can treat a variety of injuries and minor illness in our urgent care facilities.
Our urgent care centers include onsite x-ray and laboratory services and because they are part of South Shore Health, we can easily connect you to additional medical care if it’s needed.
Some of the common conditions treated in urgent care include:
- Sports Injuries
- Sore throat
- Cuts and abrasions
- Sprains and strains
- Ear infections
- Urinary tract infections (UTI)
- Bacterial infections
- Aches and pains
- Animal bites
