South Shore Health Urgent Care provides convenient access to trusted care for children of all ages—from babies and toddlers to tweens and teens.

Expert Providers with Pediatric Experience

South Shore Health Urgent Care practices are staffed by expert physicians and advanced practice clinicians, many of whom have Emergency Department experience.

Providers at our six South Shore urgent care practices are comfortable caring for children and regularly treat a variety of pediatric illnesses and injuries. 

Each of our practices features a kid-friendly exam room to help make visits more welcoming for children and parents.

In addition, Epic integration via South Shore Health MyChart allows our providers to view records from your child’s pediatrician and share any notes or documentation with that pediatrician for a connected, coordinated care experience.

Along with treatment for the conditions below, all South Shore Health Urgent Care practices offer access to pediatric X-ray services, lab services, and camp, sports, or school physical exams.

Our offices are open seven days a week, with evening hours until 7 PM Monday through Friday, and weekend and holiday hours from 9 AM to 4 PM, making South Shore Health Urgent Care a great resource for families needing same-day or after-hours care.

For South Shore Medical Center Patients

South Shore Medical Center does not offer walk-in urgent care but does offer same-day care by appointment as space allows. Same-day visits can be scheduled online via South Shore Health MyChart or by calling 781-878-5200.

SSMC patients can also walk in for care or schedule an appointment at their nearest South Shore Health Urgent Care practice.

Because South Shore Health Urgent Care also uses MyChart, your child's SSMC pediatrician will have full access to any urgent care test results, diagnoses, and clinical notes.
