Bridge Clinic

When you realize you need treatment for addiction, it can be difficult to know where to turn. South Shore Health's outpatient bridge clinic is here to help you make the journey to recovery.

The bridge clinic is a community door for people that want to start treatment for substance use disorder. This program offers initial diagnosis and medicine for treatment of substance use disorder in a welcoming, stigma-free environment. Patients can walk in Monday-Friday from 7:30 AM-4 PM, but are advised to call ahead for an appointment.

The bridge clinic is located at South Shore Hospital, but does not offer inpatient detox programs. To find a detox center, please visit the Community Resource Directory.

Our Approach

Our team develops care plans for patients and offers individual therapy until substance use is stabilized. The team will then provide referrals for other community-based services that will help you mange substance use disorder for the long-term.

The bridge clinic is part of the Grayken Center for Treatment at South Shore Health.
