In light of the rapidly evolving situation surrounding COVID-19, South Shore Health today announced new limitations on surgical procedures at South Shore Hospital, effective Wednesday, March 18.

South Shore Hospital and South Shore Emergency Medicine Services (EMS), both part of South Shore Health, have received two Mission: Lifeline® Receiving Quality Achievement Awards, gold and silver respectively, for implementing specific quality improvement measures outlined by the American Heart Association for the treatment of patients who suffer severe heart attacks.

The October 20 signature event will raise money for Emergency Services at South Shore Health.

All fundraising will support behavioral health or cancer care services and programs on the South Shore.
