Alan McKim Renews Leadership Support for South Shore Health Gala

South Shore Health is pleased to announce that Alan McKim has renewed his commitment as a presenting sponsor of the South Shore Health Gala with a generous $200,000 sponsorship.
This level of partnership - and his choice to double the presenting sponsor investment - is a powerful statement of confidence in the Health System’s mission.
The annual event will be held on Friday, October 16, 2026, bringing together community leaders, supporters, and healthcare advocates to raise funds for critical emergency care programs and services.
For nearly two decades, Alan McKim's philanthropy has helped shape some of South Shore Health's most significant initiatives, from expanding access to cancer care and critical care services to supporting facility enhancements and emergency medicine programs.
Most recently, his transformational $5.3 million gift helped advance improvements to South Shore Hospital's Emergency Department and Level II Trauma Center and funded the creation of the hospital's West Unit, which expanded patient care capacity and improved access for patients requiring short-stay medical and surgical services.
