South Shore Medical Center Experiencing Intermittent Phone Issues

Update: These issues have been resolved. We thank you for your patience.

South Shore Medical Center continues to experience issues with inbound phone calls. We are taking messages and returning calls as quickly as possible.

South Shore Medical Center patients should use South Shore MyChart to communicate with their care teams for non-urgent issues. This keeps resources available for patients who need immediate assistance from our team.

Patients that need to be evaluated for flu-like symptoms, sprains, lacerations, or other urgent (but less serious) issues and cannot reach their provider can also visit Health Express, our urgent care centers with six convenient locations across the South Shore.

Patients with medical emergencies should call 911.

Earlier issues with phone service at South Shore Hospital have been resolved.

Thank you to our patients for their continued understanding, and thank you to our staff for working hard to help our patients through these technical issues.
