What started in 2006 as a program with one nurse and 30 machines has grown to include coverage seven days a week using medical equipment that has the capacity to remotely monitor up to 175 patients.

Made possible by a nearly $142,000 grant from the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation, these modified rooms are calming, controlled spaces aimed at reducing stress, agitation, and anxiety for patients, particularly those who are neurodivergent or on the autism spectrum.

Thomas McCarthy, ChFC®, AIF®, Managing Partner of KAF Wealth Management, was named a finalist for the Community Service Award from the Invest in Others organization, which honors financial advisors nationally for outstanding charitable work.
