When it comes to your health and wellness, regular exercise plays a key role. Exercise is good for both your mind and your body, improving your mood, assisting with weight loss, and helping you feel livelier and more energetic.

South Shore Health's Center for Physical Wellness offers patients and community members more than a dozen di number of different ways to get active and stay healthy.

Our classes run in month-long sessions throughout the year, with an average cost of just $10 per session.

Classes for chronic conditions, injury recovery, and more

Offering expertise with a personal approach, all classes are designed to help you build strength, flexibility, and endurance.

We offer land, pool, and virtual exercise classes at convenient times throughout the week.

Our exercise therapy classes can help patients with a number of chronic conditions, including arthritis, osteoporosis, cardiovascular issues, and more.

In addition, we offer exercise therapy programs for patients recovering from a stroke, experiencing muscular weakness, recovering from a total joint replacement procedure, and for pre- and post-natal mothers.

Our goal is to ensure that you have a fun, safe way to get the exercise you need — regardless of your age, mobility, or level of fitness.

Not sure where to begin? Please email CEP [at] southshorehealth.org (CEP[at]southshorehealth[dot]org) or call 781-624-4367 to speak to our team about which class is best for you!

In addition, we offer the opportunity to observe or trial one of our classes before you sign up.
