Traumatic injuries are largely preventable. That’s why injury prevention is a critical piece of our Trauma Center program.

Our prevention efforts are data-driven and target the most common causes of injury that we see on the South Shore, which currently includes motor vehicle crashes, falls, and pedestrian crashes.

South Shore Health is proud to host a robust, multidisciplinary injury prevention program. Our nurses, EMS colleagues, physicians, program managers, health educators and many more experts contribute to this work.
