This designation - the highest level awarded by the ANCC - recognizes organizations that demonstrate excellence in preparing new nurses for successful transition into practice.

This is the fourth consecutive verification for South Shore Hospital. As a Level II Trauma Center, the hospital is equipped to handle all critical injuries, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
