BOSTON MARATHON
April 21, 2025
On April 21, 2025, 10 team members will run on behalf of South Shore Health for the 129th Boston Marathon. These dedicated athletes are fundraising for two inspiring programs: behavioral health and substance use disorder programs within the Grayken Center for Treatment or the Dana-Farber Brigham Cancer Center at South Shore Health.

SET THE PACE RACE
April 26, 2025
The Set the Pace Road Race is on Saturday, April 26, 2025. The event is at Wompatuck State Park in Higham and includes a 5K race (or walk) and a 1-mile walk. Proceeds will be used to purchase specialty equipment for the Cardiac Rehab Center.

GOLF CLASSIC
May 19, 2025
The South Shore Health Golf Classic will take place on Monday, May 19, 2025 at the Pinehills Golf Club in Plymouth, MA. The event features a day on the links to raise funds for behavioral health and substance use disorder programs within the Grayken Center for Treatment at South Shore Health.
KICKIN' UP COUNTRY
June 7, 2025
The Friends of Home Care raise funds for South Shore Health’s Home Care Division for the past 22 years through this annual country-western themed buffet dinner dance. A live band, fun photo booth and fabulous raffles round out the night. The event has provided financial assistance to our more marginalized patients, covered care and/or clinical equipment that insurance would not cover, purchased numerous unbudgeted items used in the field by our clinicians, and established a permanent Sim Lab in our Home Care Division’s physical building.
South Shore Health Annual Walk
June 21, 2025
We are transforming our former 1-mile walk into an invigorating 5K walk adventure along Wessagusset Beach and Great Hill Park in North Weymouth. We’re thrilled to shake things up this year and offer participants a fresh, coastal course that highlights the natural beauty of our community. Walkers are encouraged to fundraise and this year will choose the area where they’d like their monies allocated, including SSH Greatest Need, Behavioral Health/Substance Use Disorders, Cancer Care, Critical Care Unit (CCU), Maternity Care/Pediatric Programs and Supportive & Palliative Care. Come make waves with us at the new 5K Community Walk and create new and lasting memories all while supporting your community hospital.
CORNHOLE FOR KIDS

The Supporting Pediatrics Friends are members of the Friends of South Shore Health who have a special connection with the pediatric areas of the Hospital. All proceeds from this event benefit the pediatric population of South Shore Health.
PAN-MASS CHALLENGE
August 2 & 3, 2025
South Shore Health's Pan-Mass Challenge team raises money to support patients receiving treatment at the Dana-Farber Brigham Cancer Center in clinical affiliation with South Shore Health.
SOUTH SHORE HEALTH GALA
October 17, 2025
South Shore Health’s 24th annual Gala will take place on October 17, 2025, at the Marriott Boston Quincy! This critical fundraiser will benefit the lifesaving emergency services at South Shore Health: The Susan & Digger Donahue Emergency Department at South Shore Hospital, our Level II Trauma Center, EMS, and Mobile Integrated Health programs.
