People come to the orthopedic surgeon seeking relief from pain and improved function. It is my goal to create a trusting doctor-patient relationship and make a treatment plan together. We have the same desire: for you to get better and back to life.

Having sustained a major trauma or having undergone any kind of surgery (major or minor) can be extremely stressful. I often find myself treating patients and talking with families when they are often feeling at their worst. This is the time when I feel my warm personality and compassion can be the biggest contributors to alleviating some of that stress and anxiety. Outside of my practice, I prefer to spend time with my family enjoying the splendors of the South Shore.

I have had the pleasure of practicing in surgical specialties in community-based hospitals over the last several years. I love working in community hospitals because it is small enough to give patients personalized care but also large enough to provide the best specialized care. Outside of work, I enjoy baking, taking care of my chickens and hiking.

My philosophy is to always take the time to listen to the patient's concerns and do my best to address them.
