My mission is to provide comprehensive care and holistic support to patients throughout their cancer journey.

With over a decade of service in healthcare, I have expertise in clinical practice, research, and patient-centered care. I earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from UMASS Worcester. My experience ranges across inpatient and outpatient settings, including hematology, oncology, clinical research, medical/surgical care, and primary care.  Outside work, I enjoy sailing and spending time with my family including our dog Una. 

I like to tailor treatment plans based on an individual characteristics. Communication is key and I like to get the patient involved in the decision making. I think this facilitates trust and when patients have trust in their provider, they are  able to manage, treat, and prevent diseases more effectively.

I graduated from Quinnipiac University PA program in August 2005, and started my career as a Primary Care PA. I later transitioned to Urgent Care. I have been practicing as an Urgent Care PA for over a decade and love it. My hobbies include biking, hiking, yoga, exercising, traveling and spending time with my family.

I received my undergraduate degree from Harvard University. I completed my medical degree at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Camden, NJ. My surgical and urological residency took place at the State University of New York Health Science Center in Brooklyn, NY. I am certified with the American Board of Urology and am passionate about providing high quality patient care in a compassionate environment.

My passion for family medicine is rooted in the ability to take part in the growth and development of my patients as they reach milestones in their lives.

As a family nurse practitioner, it is a privilege to have the opportunity to build connections with my patients throughout their lifetime. Being a strong advocate of patient-centered care, I am committed to supporting my patients in a collaborative manner in order to help them meet and exceed their health goals. In my spare time I enjoy exercising, reading, and spending time with family.

My focus is to manage and treat patients with a variety of Urologic disorders. I hope to educate them on future prevention of these issues as well. I look forward to assisting in providing surgical treatment for patients with different Urologic cancers.

My interest in medicine was first sparked when my father was diagnosed with esophageal cancer when I was nine years old. I went to Northeastern University for my undergraduate studies and Cornell Medicine for my PA degree. I enjoy playing a variety of sports and spending time with my wife and two kids in my free time.

I chose to become a primary care physician because I cherish the long-term relationships I establish with my patients. I enjoy taking care of patients of all ages and families at all stages of their lives. I believe listening is as important as speaking. I see my role as an educator, sharing my knowledge and helping patients translate that into healthy habits for the prevention and management of chronic illness. 

Outside of work, I enjoy traveling near and far with my husband and three children.

My mission is to provide patient-centered care allowing our patients to access trustworthy and well-informed care.

My personal philosophy in life is to be kind and compassionate. My background is in adult-gerontology and neurosurgery. I aim to create patient-centered relationships where my patients feel comfortable disclosing any concerns. In addition, I aim to provide open communication. Outside of work, I enjoy volunteering at a local nursing home and a local food bank, and performing in an dance group in ballet, jazz, contemporary and hip hop. I also enjoy hiking and exploring local trails.

My mission is to provide exceptional care to hematology and oncology patients, and support patients and their families when they are at their most vulnerable. 

It is a privilege and an honor to have the opportunity to establish meaningful, long-term relationships with my patients and their families. I believe in open, honest communication and a patient-centered model when formulating a treatment plan. I look forward to supporting my patients not only physically, but mentally and emotionally as well. 

Outside of work, I enjoy spin classes, going to the beach, and spending time with family and friends.
