After having a standard hip replacement several years ago, Paula K. had a chance to have her other hip replaced at our Outpatient Surgical Unit. She seized the chance, and is on the road to living pain-free.

Last March, just as the pandemic was ramping up in Massachusetts, Louisa dialed 9-1-1. Her husband Michael was suffering from an acute infection and needed urgent medical attention.

After suffering for too long with severe hip pain, the 73-year old Weymouth resident chose Dr. Michael Ayers to perform her hip replacement surgery. “I liked him right away,” she said. “He really listened to me and always made great eye contact.”
