My mission is to provide culturally competent, evidence-based, and compassionate care to improve the quality of life of all of my patients. 

Medical care that not only tends to patients’ physiological ailments but imparts a sense of emotional comfort is the preeminent force in my practice. I completed my training at Tufts University School of Medicine, where I received a Masters Degree in Medical Science and another Masters Degree in Public Health.

My treatment philosophy is to empower patients to be as healthy as they can be through a holistic approach.

I want to help patients feel the best they can. I believe focusing on nutrition, exercise, sleep hygiene, and doing things that make you happy make a huge difference in people’s health. Listening to what patients have to say is of utmost importance. I have been described as a good listener by some of my patients.

I take great pride in the opportunity to improve patients' lives. Everyone has their own story and I do not view patients as defined by their age or conditions. I seek to work with the individual in order to help them be better. Outside of work, I enjoy golf and spending time with my family. 

I grew up in southern Maine and attended Harvard University for my undergraduate education. While at Tufts University School of Medicine and Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, my focus was on primary care medicine. I believe in the dignity of each of my patients. Respect, compassion, and reliability are among my goals in patient care. In my free time, I enjoy the outdoors and the arts, usually in the company of my family. 

It is a privilege to treat patients compassionately in our community. I strive for excellence, open communication, accessibility, and long-term relationships. Outside of work, I especially love spending time with my family, swimming, bicycling, tennis, golf, sailing, photography, and magic.

My goal is to help patients and families manage the acute illness that lead to hospitalization and transition to a healthy life outside the hospital environment.

I am passionate about effective management of acute medical issues while providing clear and concise medical information. In addition to clinical practice, I am interested in using technology innovations to improve patient health.

Outside of work, I am an avid SCUBA diver.
