South Shore Health’s Nurse Residency Program has earned Practice Transition Accreditation Program® (PTAP) accreditation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). This designation - the highest level awarded by the ANCC - recognizes organizations that demonstrate excellence in preparing new nurses for successful transition into practice.

With the region experiencing yet another surge in cases of COVID-19, the Mobile Integrated Health (MIH) program is participating in an innovative clinical trial that brings a much talked about drug to treat COVID-19 (remdesivir) to patients at home, instead of at the hospital.

The new program is designed to provide intensive, structured care for individuals who need more support than traditional outpatient therapy, while still allowing participants to live at home and continue their daily routines.
