Coronavirus Update

South Shore Health is working closely with state and federal officials as we learn more about COVID-19, and our Incident Command team continues to actively monitor the situation in the event we see a patient or patients in the future.

We see many patients who have traveled and are seeking treatment for flu-like symptoms, including, fever, respiratory, body aches, and the like. We encourage patients to contact their primary care provider if they have flu-like symptoms and/or recent a history of travel to countries the CDC has identified as having widespread coronavirus outbreak.

Todd Ellerin, MD, Director of Infectious Disease at South Shore Health, shares more about our health system's preparedness and how you can keep your family healthy in the video below.

We've created a website with helpful links and steps patients, caregivers, and the community should take as the situation evolves.
