Community Benefits
Since 1922, South Shore Health has been a good corporate citizen, responsive employer, and considerate neighbor to the communities we serve.
We continuously work to support the principles of Massachusetts healthcare reform, improve the management of chronic diseases, reduce disparities in the provision of care, promote wellness in vulnerable populations, and sustain vital health services.
We work in collaboration with three of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health's Community Health Network Areas by supporting and funding community health initiatives sponsored by:
- Blue Hills Community Health Alliance (CHNA 20)
- South Shore Community Partners in Prevention (CHNA 23)
- Greater Brockton Community Health Network Area (CHNA 22).
