Aquatic Therapy

We offer aquatic therapy for patients with injuries, orthopedic or neurological issues that experience symptoms such as pain, weakness, weight bearing restrictions after surgery, swelling, and/or changes in muscle tone. We also offer aquatic therapy for our pediatric patients.

Aquatic therapy combines traditional exercise with the buoyancy of water to enhance and accelerate the rehabilitation process. Our unique two-pool facility allows us to tailor an exercise program using either our warm (92°) or cool (82°) pool environment. Our pools are accessible by stairs or chair lift. Locker rooms, showers, and a family-assisted dressing area are available. A doctor’s order specifying pool therapy is needed to initiate the process.

Our therapeutic pools are also used for our Community Exercise Programs. We offer classes for patients of all ages, and some classes are tailored to meet the needs of patients with specific conditions, such as arthritis, Parkinson’s, and more.
