Whether you have pre-diabetes, are newly diagnosed, or are coping with gestational diabetes, South Shore Health can help you make changes that will allow you to better manage your diabetes and improve your quality of life.
We offer certified programs in two locations. The Diabetes Center at South Shore Hospital has registered nurse diabetes educators and dietitians that offer expert instruction to mothers managing gestational diabetes.
South Shore Medical Center has been an accredited diabetes education program by the American Association of Diabetes Educators since 2013. This affiliation allows us to provide increased access to critical diabetes education services for patients with Type I and Type II diabetes.
The South Shore Health Center for Wound Healing also helps patients with difficult-to-heal diabetic wounds, should you need it.
South Shore Health also offers support groups for patients with diabetes. Here, our experts and other patients with diabetes provide encouragement and advice as you manage the disease.
