A hospitalization is often wrought with difficult news and decisions; it is my honor to care for patients at these times. I enjoy working with a care team, to deliver high-quality care. Above all, I try to foster sincere relationships with patients, focusing on what is most important to each person.   

I was drawn to family medicine because joining patients on their journeys to healthier, happier lifestyles is incredibly rewarding. I strive to always provide care that is patient-centered and evidence-based in both primary care and the hospital. Outside of medicine, I love traveling and enjoying new restaurants with my wife.

I take great pride in the opportunity to improve patients' lives. Everyone has their own story and I do not view patients as defined by their age or conditions. I seek to work with the individual in order to help them be better. Outside of work, I enjoy golf and spending time with my family. 

I enjoy taking care of my patients and including their families and the entire treatment team in the process. 

My goal is to help patients and families manage the acute illness that lead to hospitalization and transition to a healthy life outside the hospital environment.

I am passionate about effective management of acute medical issues while providing clear and concise medical information. In addition to clinical practice, I am interested in using technology innovations to improve patient health.

Outside of work, I am an avid SCUBA diver. 

I am board certified in Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine, with clinical epidemiology training. My clinical expertise include assisting geriatric patients with informed-decision making based on risk factors and predictors of long-term functional outcomes, and implementing interventions to optimize functional and cognitive outcomes.
