I feel privileged to care for patients from age 18 to 95 and beyond. While I base my practice firmly on research-based evidence, I am aware that much is still unknown in medicine and that guidelines evolve over time. Open communication with my patients helps me respect patients' values and health goals.

Outside of work, you can usually find me exploring the beauty of nature with my four young children.

My passion for family medicine is rooted in the ability to take part in the growth and development of my patients as they reach milestones in their lives.

As a family nurse practitioner, it is a privilege to have the opportunity to build connections with my patients throughout their lifetime. Being a strong advocate of patient-centered care, I am committed to supporting my patients in a collaborative manner in order to help them meet and exceed their health goals. In my spare time I enjoy exercising, reading, and spending time with family.

My mission is to provide safe, high quality, patient centered care in collaboration with the patient, their family, and other providers on the care team to promote the patient’s goals of care and overall well-being.

It is a privilege to advance my role as a nurse anesthetist at South Shore Hospital. It is of utmost importance to me that I gain the trust of my patients and involve them in the plan of care with effective communication and transparency. Being an advocate for my patients during the perioperative period is my priority. When I am not at work, I enjoy gardening, hiking, spending time at the beach, and cooking.

My job is ultimately about the trust that comes from a long-term relationship.  I am honored that people choose me to care for them and their extended families, and I do my best to give thoughtful and evidenced based advice.  Each of us has unique goals for our long term health, and I really enjoy giving people guidance in this realm.  I also enjoy the challenge of my work.  Each day is extremely diverse and forces me to stay continually current.  When I am not at work, I love competing in triathlon and cycling events, skiing, travel, and being outside.  I also adore being a father to my three daughters.

My treatment approach is centered around empowering individuals to take control of their own well-being. My focus is on providing a safe and supportive environment for my patients, enhance their self-awareness. My goal is to work collaboratively with patients to develop personalized treatment plans that address their unique  needs and goals.

I graduated from medical school in Eastern Europe. My OBGYN residency training took place in NYC at Maimonides medical Center. Outside of work, I love swimming and biking ; however, most importantly I love spending time with my family.

I'm a surgical oncologist, and the Medical Director of the Breast Care Center at Dana-Farber Brigham Cancer Center at South Shore Health and an Instructor in Surgery at Harvard Medical School. I received my Doctor of Medicine degree from Boston University School of Medicine and completed my General Surgery residency at Boston University Medical Center.

My mission is to provide outstanding, compassionate care for patients with breast cancer which integrates multi-disciplinary care and allows for the most up to date treatment standards. 

I went into the field of breast surgery because I knew that I wanted to be able to help patients going through a new diagnosis of breast cancer with thoughtfulness and insight into the latest therapeutic options.  I feel that being a part of the team at the DFBWCC Cancer Center in clinical affiliation with South Shore Health allows me to be a part of a team of superbly talented clinicians who all have the same goals in mind when it comes to the care of a patient with breast cancer – personalized care, compassion, mutual respect and attention to details.
