Breastfeeding Support

South Shore Health encourages and supports breastfeeding as the optimal choice for your baby. (Should you choose to use formula, we will support you in that decision, too!)

At South Shore Hospital, each member of our nursing staff is trained to help you establish breastfeeding. Should you require support, our lactation consultants are available to provide additional help to you, even after you go home.

We are proud to offer a wide range of support services for breastfeeding mothers.
