It is an honor to have patients place their trust in my hands. I strive to provide excellent care throughout a patient’s entire hospital stay, be it in the ED, OR, ICU or ward. Outside of work I enjoy spending as much time as possible outside with my family and friends.

My mission is to create a positive healthcare experience for patients and their families.

It is a privilege to build long-term relationships with my patients and their families and to be able to care for them through all stages of childhood, especially when they’re not feeling well.  I believe that it’s important for children to receive care in an environment where they feel comfortable.  In my free time, I like to read, go to the beach and spend time with family.

My philosophy is to engage patient is their own care.

I completed my residency at Cambridge Health Alliance in Cambridge, MA, often caring for underserved populations and immigrants.  I believe in engaging the patient in their own care and understanding any difficulty they may have in caring for themselves.

My goal as a physician is to help patients learn about the importance of following preventative measurements and living a well-balanced life to tackle many diseases before they become debilitating illnesses.

I am excited to be part of the South Shore Hospital Medicine team. I believe patient education and communication are the key components to provide the best possible care to all my patients. My training has helped me master the skills to provide evidence-based, culturally competent, and patient centered care to all my patients. It is my honor to be able to provide you the needed medical care while you are admitted to the South Shore Hospital.

Outside of work, I love hiking, painting, and exploring different places.

I strive to educate patients about their health conditions in order to best include them as part of the treatment team.

Brendan has spent a large portion of his career practicing in Primary Care following graduation from MCPHS University in 2014.  Having grown up in Massachusetts, as well as living and working in Southeastern Mass he has formed close relationships with his patients as they are frequently his neighbors, mechanics, former teachers and the like. From these relationships, he has learned the importance of community as part of a medical treatment plan, and this has now become an important aspect to the way he practices medicine. He is very excited to extend his medical career into the South Shore Health Community.
