Colleague Spotlight: Celebrating Mary Cullen!

Each month, South Shore Health gives the Colleague Spotlight Award to a colleague who demonstrates exemplary behaviors, actions, and/or work practices that reflect the values of South Shore Health.

We're proud to celebrate Mary Cullen as our Colleague Spotlight Award recipient for October!

Mary is Operations Manager at The Women's Center of South Shore Medical Center.

"Mary gives 110% each and every day to our patients, to our staff, to the providers," said Linda Oliver, PA-C, MPH, Interim Vice President of Ambulatory Services at South Shore Medical Center. 

Along with being a team player who is committed to doing what's best for our patients and colleagues on a daily basis, Mary recently played a key role in welcoming several new providers and hundreds of new patients, formerly of South Shore Women's Health, to The Women's Center.

"She was incredibly instrumental and took a lead role in welcoming seven new providers into the practice," said Oliver. "She also helped open and prepare the Plymouth and Whitman offices."

"[Mary] jumps in with both feet," continued Oliver. "[She's] determined that we're going to get the best outcome possible, and she puts every effort behind it to ensure success."

We're grateful to Mary for her everyday leadership and also for her hands-on role in the recent growth at The Women's Center.

"Thank you to my colleagues for recognizing me," said Cullen. "It really does take a village. I didn't do any of this on my own, for sure."
