My mission is to provide compassionate care to all patients regardless of their background or socioeconomic status.

I have been passionate about health and wellbeing since I studied nutrition and dietetics in college. I believe in preventative medicine and embody a holistic approach to my care. I listen to my patients and allow them the space to make informed medical decisions about their own care. Outside of the workplace, I enjoy traveling, cooking and spending time with my yellow lab, Lily.

I feel privileged to care for patients from age 18 to 95 and beyond. While I base my practice firmly on research-based evidence, I am aware that much is still unknown in medicine and that guidelines evolve over time. Open communication with my patients helps me respect patients' values and health goals.

Outside of work, you can usually find me exploring the beauty of nature with my four young children.

My mission is to teach patients how better health habits can prevent many diseases.  

It is a privilege to help people and establish long-term relationships with my patients. I believe that everyone's medical care should be individually tailored. We all have unique characteristics that need to be considered when deciding a treatment plan. Communication is paramount. Outside of work, I love rock climbing and surfing; however, most importantly I love spending time with my family.

Having sustained a major trauma or having undergone any kind of surgery (major or minor) can be extremely stressful. I often find myself treating patients and talking with families when they are often feeling at their worst. This is the time when I feel my warm personality and compassion can be the biggest contributors to alleviating some of that stress and anxiety. Outside of my practice, I prefer to spend time with my family enjoying the splendors of the South Shore.

My mission as an emergency department physician is to provide timely and excellent care to patients while helping them through what are likely very stressful and difficult emergency situations.

I grew up in southern New Hampshire and attended Providence College in Rhode Island. I then obtained my MD at the University of Connecticut. I completed my emergency medicine residency at the University of Cincinnati and while I loved the Midwest, I always planned to come back to New England and was happy to move to the South Shore. In my free time I enjoy hiking, skiing, and spending time with family and friends.

I received my undergraduate degree from Harvard University. I completed my medical degree at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Camden, NJ. My surgical and urological residency took place at the State University of New York Health Science Center in Brooklyn, NY. I am certified with the American Board of Urology and am passionate about providing high quality patient care in a compassionate environment.

Establishing a good patient-physician relationship is crucial to help provide the best care. I believe in allowing ample time in a visit to listen to my patients' needs and thoroughly explain their diagnosis and treatment plan. Most podiatric issues can be treated with aggressive conservative therapy, although when surgical intervention is necessary, I will communicate that to the patient in a direct and concise manner.
