My mission is to provide an accurate diagnosis in patient's with complicated presentations and complex disease states.

I am drawn to Hospital Medicine for the acute care problem solving. I believe that the patient's "story" should be accurately presented and the diagnosis should "fit" the presentation. If it doesn't, the work up continues to reveal the missing piece of the puzzle. Communicating the plan of care and expectations re:hospital course allow for a more positive experience during an otherwise difficult time. Outside of work I enjoy spending time near the water in the Ocean State and attending car shows.

My mission is to relieve pain and suffering by healing patients' wounds as fast as possible.

I have been practicing plastic surgery with an emphasis on complex wounds since 1999.  In addition to providing advanced wound care, surgical treatment and hyperbaric oxygen therapy, I am passionate about educating the next generation of physicians and participating in research that will transform the science of wound care. As the Research Director, I coordinate and lead clinical trials of potential new wound  therapies, providing the opportunity for our patients to participate in their own community.

My mission is to provide high-quality, patient-centered care by using a holistic approach. 

It is an honor to create relationships with patients and get to know them to create individualized treatment plans. like to listen to patients and involve them in their care so that they can meet their health goals.

Outside of work, | enjoy spending time with family and friends, going to the beach, and excercising. 

I was drawn to family medicine because joining patients on their journeys to healthier, happier lifestyles is incredibly rewarding. I strive to always provide care that is patient-centered and evidence-based in both primary care and the hospital. Outside of medicine, I love traveling and enjoying new restaurants with my wife.

I really enjoy working with the pediatric population. Kids are so energetic, willing to learn and eager to challenge themselves. The beauty of pediatric primary care is that one day is never the same, every child is so unique. There is always new knowledge to gain. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, running, swimming, and vacationing on Cape Cod. 

I enjoy taking care of my patients and including their families and the entire treatment team in the process.
