I developed an interest in pediatrics early in my medical career and continue to love working with children. I have the privilege of getting to know patients well by following them through infancy, childhood, and adolescence. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling and exploring Boston.

It is a privilege to help people,and manage and coordinate exceptional patient care in the hospital. I believe that everyone's medical care should be individually tailored. We all have unique characteristics that need to be considered when deciding a treatment plan. Communication is paramount. Outside of work, I love reading and spending time with my family.

Patients with vascular disease often face many challenges—medical and otherwise. Consequently, I recognize that there are many important aspects to your care.  I also appreciate that having surgery is a major life event. With all of this in mind, I will do my best to provide you with patient-centered, high quality, effective and compassionate care.

I enjoy helping people stay healthy through preventative medicine, as well as treating both developing and ongoing health issues. I especially value getting to know my patients over time.

It is a privilege to treat patients compassionately in our community. I strive for excellence, open communication, accessibility, and long-term relationships. Outside of work, I especially love spending time with my family, swimming, bicycling, tennis, golf, sailing, photography, and magic.

I started the PA program at Northeastern University in October of 1988. Since first picking up a stethoscope, I have loved being a PA. Many of my patients have shown courage and dignity at a most vulnerable time in their lives, often with good cheer. 

Great joys in my life include grand babies, my chubby cat, dog walks and kayaking at sunset. My passion project is making stained glass panels which feature birds, fish and animals in their natural habitat.

My mission is to treat my patients with compassion and kindness and take the time to know and understand them.

I am certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology and Hematology. I received my BA in Biology at State University of New York at Buffalo and my MD from Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA. I did my residency in Medicine at Lankenau Hospital in Philadelphia, PA and Fellowship in Hematology-Oncology at University of Connecticut Health Center in Farmington, CT. I was recognized in Boston Magazine's 2017 Top Doctors list. Outside of work, I enjoy listening to classical music, traveling, running, and bicycling.
