Visitor policy changes

Employee and patient screening
Every South Shore Health colleague, visitor, or patient is screened for COVID-19 symptoms before entering our patient-facing facilities. If they are symptomatic, they will receive appropriate medical care.
Masks must be worn
Patients, staff, and visitors must wear masks when in the presence of others at all South Shore Health facilities. If you do not have a mask, we will provide one.
Increased cleaning
We’ve stepped up our already rigorous cleaning practices, cleaning all high-touch surfaces regularly. We’ve taken toys and magazines out of our waiting areas, so please bring your own.
