Has your doctor recommended an appointment with a dietitian to assist you in lowering your cholesterol through diet and exercise? South Shore Medical Center's nutrition department offers small group appointments, comprised of two to five patients. Each person has their individual results reviewed and assessed, and everyone receives individualized recommendations.

Group classes may be covered by your health insurance. Please call your health insurance company regarding coverage details. If your insurance does not cover group nutrition education, the maximum out of pocket cost is $40.
