At the Pain Management Clinic, patient's pain is addressed through multidisciplinary treatment plans with a simple goal in mind: to reduce your pain and improve your quality of life.

The Pain Management Clinic team includes referring physicians, primary care physicians, physical therapists, and other specialists working together on your care, with a focus on providing a unique, personalized approach.

The team includes board-certified physicians, nurse practitioners, and experienced nurses who will monitor your progress.

Yes. As policy, the Pain Management Clinic requires a referral from a physician, even if your insurance does not. 

Your primary care physician or a specialist involved in your care must refer to you the clinic. If you have questions about the referral process, please call 781-624-8352.

You'll be evaluated by a registered nurse and a nurse practitioner or a physician. They will review your medical history and evaluate your problem in order to get a better understanding of what's causing your pain. Understanding the pain is the first step toward developing a treatment plan. 

Depending on your situation, treatment plans may include interventional pain management therapies offered at the Pain Management Clinic, medication recommendations with monitoring, referrals to physical therapy, behavioral therapy, and neurosurgery to develop a multi-model approach.
