South Shore Medical Center will now contact patients directly if their appointment is affected by inclement weather.

At South Shore Medical Center, we know that trust and transparency are key to a strong relationship with your care provider. With that in mind, we wanted to acknowledge some of the challenges patients have experienced in recent months and discuss the steps we’re taking to address those challenges.

Boston Magazine has named 41 physicians and surgeons affiliated with South Shore Health to its 2019 ‘Top Doctors’ list. The group represents 17 areas of specialty.

What started in 2006 as a program with one nurse and 30 machines has grown to include coverage seven days a week using medical equipment that has the capacity to remotely monitor up to 175 patients.
