We are proud to welcome new adult and pediatric patients to South Shore Medical Center!
Our primary care practices are located in Kingston, Norwell, and Quincy, with adult care available at all three locations and pediatric care available in Kingston and Norwell.
We are welcoming new primary care patients in Pediatrics (birth to 17 years old), Family Medicine (all ages), and Internal Medicine (18 years old and older).
We are also accepting new patients across many different specialties, including dermatology, OB/GYN, orthopedics, podiatry, physiatry, pulmonology, rheumatology, sports medicine, and urology.

Choosing a new primary care provider
Each of the providers listed on this page is currently accepting new patients. These providers are part of South Shore Medical's larger team of more than 100 board-certified physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants who work in a care team model to provide optimal care to patients.

When you are ready to choose a new provider, please call your health insurance company's Member Services Team (the number located on the back of your insurance card) and confirm your chosen provider is in network and participates with your health insurer. Tell them you would like to switch your primary care provider.
Once you have confirmed that your chosen provider is in network and participates with your health insurer, please call at 781-681-1686 to register as a new patient and schedule your first appointment.

South Shore Medical Center, part of South Shore Health, offers comprehensive primary and specialty care for thousands of patients on the South Shore. We have more than 100 board-certified Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, and Pediatric primary care providers across our practice.
Our Specialty Care offering includes general surgery, dermatology, gastroenterology, podiatry, orthopedics, urogynecology, and more.
We also offer comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care through The Women's Center of South Shore Medical Center, which has four locations across the South Shore.

Upon becoming a patient of South Shore Medical Center, you will need to transfer your medical records from your current medical office.
Please contact your current medical office's records department and have them send your records to us. If you have questions, contact our Medical Records Team by calling 781-624-8235.
South Shore Health MyChart is your virtual care companion, allowing you to manage a number of aspects of your patient experience from a computer or smartphone.
MyChart is free to use and allows patients to schedule appointments, view test results, contact their care team, pay bills, and more.
We encourage all South Shore Medical Center patients to sign up for a MyChart account.
We offer on-site laboratory services at all South Shore Medical Center and Women's Center locations.
Patients with an active lab order from their provider can walk in at whatever lab location is most convenient to receive the services they need.
