Third-Party Fundraisers

Third-party fundraisers are an important part of our community’s support to ensure world-class healthcare for our neighbors. Whether you have a personal connection to South Shore Health or you’re looking for a fun way to raise money and support a good cause, third-party fundraisers of all sizes drive our mission of Your Health. Our Passion. One Community.

We invite you to host a fundraiser to benefit any of the various service lines or programs at South Shore Health.

These events are organized, promoted, and managed by community members – individuals, families, or businesses. Event options are endless! Here are some ideas of both virtual and in-person third-party fundraisers: organizing sports tournament, virtual trivia night, themed spirit days, bake or craft sale or a virtual fitness class.

Plan an event that will be fun and easy for you and those you want to participate to be involved!

South Shore Health Foundation is happy to provide the following to help to third-party fundraisers to make efforts as successful as possible:

• A dedicated staff person to answer your questions and share fundraising best practices
• Access to a secure, online fundraising page for you to customize and share with your network
• Tracking of all gifts that are directed to South Shore Health in support of your effort
• Information about South Shore Health and the service or program your fundraiser supports
• Use of the South Shore Health Foundation’s third-party logo (all marketing materials must be submitted for approval)
• Share the success of the third-party fundraiser post event

South Shore Health Foundation cannot provide the following in support of your event:

• Financial support
• List of donors, companies, or individuals to solicit for support
• Promote fundraisers on social media
• Promote fundraisers at the hospital or off-site health system locations
• Guarantee of attendance of Foundation staff or clinical staff at event
• Provide patient stories or pictures

• Set up an online fundraising page yourself! Scroll down to view our different categories below and select the icon/category that best matches your fundraiser. On the new landing page, click the orange “Start Fundraising” button and complete the questions to start your own fundraising page through the secure JustGiving website. Once your page is set up, a member of our team will reach out to provide helpful tools such as our logo, sample solicitation text, fundraising tips and more.
