Are you currently enrolled in an accredited program seeking a degree or certificate in a Health Field? Are you a family member of a South Shore Health employee? Are you a volunteer or family member of a current volunteer? Then you can apply now for the Family Member or Volunteer Scholarship. The applicant must be a high school senior or graduate, with a GPA of B- or higher.

Applications are now being accepted! Applicants must be a full-time or regular part-time employee of South Shore Health, presently enrolled at an accredited school pursuing an associate degree, bachelor degree or technical accreditation in a health related field and have a recent GPA of B- or higher. No applications will be accepted for persons seeking Nursing degrees.

Calling all colleagues who are pursuing a BSN or higher. The Friends will begin accepting applications for the annual Nursing Scholarships. This year, we will award two $1,500 scholarships to qualified applicants. To be eligible you must be a full-time or regular part-time employee of South Shore Health, presently enrolled at an accredited school and have a current GPA of B- or higher.

The Marion C. Martinsen Scholarship is awarded to candidates pursuing a career in Nursing. Applicants must be a high school senior or graduate, with a GPA of B- or higher, presently enrolled at an accredited school pursuing a nursing degree. South Shore Health employees and families may be given preference, however, you do not need to work here to apply.

Applications are now being accepted for the Terry Ries Nursing Education and Development Scholarship. Applicants must be a full-time or regular part-time employee of South Shore Health who has worked here for a minimum of 1 year and plans to maintain employment for 1 year post selection. The person must be enrolled or accepted into an accredited program to begin or advance their nursing career and have a recent GPA of B- or higher.
