South Shore Hospital, part of South Shore Health, has earned an “A” safety grade rating from The Leapfrog Group, a designation that ranks the hospital among the safest in the Greater Boston area and the United States.

More than 400 people attended the spectacular event, held October 21 at Union Point in Weymouth.

Despite 2020’s numerous challenges, attendees of this signature event delivered on their promise to help people with substance use disorders and behavioral health needs.

In recognition of McCarthy’s service and commitment, the Invest in Others Charitable Foundation awarded $25,000 to South Shore Health in his honor.
