IMPACT Melanoma Foundation and Arbella Insurance recently donated 150 “sun- safe” gift bags to South Shore Hospital’s newest parents and their newborns.

The purpose of the project is to create and maintain a national resource documenting and studying neurological complications of coronavirus disease, the illness caused by infection with the SARS-CoV-2 novel coronavirus.

This is the fourth consecutive verification for South Shore Hospital. As a Level II Trauma Center, the hospital is equipped to handle all critical injuries, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

South Shore Hospital Center for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery has been accredited as a Comprehensive Center by the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP®), a joint Quality Program of the American College of Surgeons (ACS) and the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS).
