As a nurse practitioner I have really enjoyed the connections made with my patients.  I strive to always provide optimum patient care, and I love learning from them. My other interests include spending time with my family, traveling and a nice sunny day at the beach.  Every day I try to incorporate and encourage others with simple mindfulness and complementary medicine such as yoga, reiki and meditation.

My mission is to provide compassionate care to all patients regardless of their background or socioeconomic status.

I have been passionate about health and wellbeing since I studied nutrition and dietetics in college. I believe in preventative medicine and embody a holistic approach to my care. I listen to my patients and allow them the space to make informed medical decisions about their own care. Outside of the workplace, I enjoy traveling, cooking and spending time with my yellow lab, Lily.

My focus is to manage and treat patients with a variety of Urologic disorders. I hope to educate them on future prevention of these issues as well. I look forward to assisting in providing surgical treatment for patients with different Urologic cancers.

My interest in medicine was first sparked when my father was diagnosed with esophageal cancer when I was nine years old. I went to Northeastern University for my undergraduate studies and Cornell Medicine for my PA degree. I enjoy playing a variety of sports and spending time with my wife and two kids in my free time.

My passion for family medicine is rooted in the ability to take part in the growth and development of my patients as they reach milestones in their lives.

As a family nurse practitioner, it is a privilege to have the opportunity to build connections with my patients throughout their lifetime. Being a strong advocate of patient-centered care, I am committed to supporting my patients in a collaborative manner in order to help them meet and exceed their health goals. In my spare time I enjoy exercising, reading, and spending time with family.

As the Medical Director of Addiction Medicine at South Shore Health, I work to tackle the defining medical challenge of our time: Substance use and alcohol use disorder.

In addition to seeing adult patients at South Shore Hospital, I work with colleagues across South Shore Health to develop and implement a comprehensive addiction medicine treatment program. This program will connect patients with the resources they need to manage substance use disorder, no matter if they come to us through the Emergency Department, primary care, or another setting. Additionally, I serve as Medical Director for Spectrum Health System's opioid treatment program, ATS/detox, CSS, and therapeutic community in Weymouth.

Prior to my work at South Shore Health, I helped launch the Bridge Clinic at Boston Medical Center, which connected patients with treatment options for substance use disorder. I also served as Medical Director for Spectrum Health Systems’ Opioid Treatment Program in Weymouth.

In my spare time, I enjoy baseball, reading fiction, snowboarding, and cooking.
