My mission is to assure that patients are comfortable, informed, and receive high quality care while in the hospital.

It is a privilege to help my patients by providing quality care while they are in the hospital. I believe that everyone's medical care should be individually tailored as we all have unique characteristics that need to be considered when deciding on a treatment plan. Good communication is essential to good care.

I am honored to treat and work with my patients. When I am not working, I am running marathons or trails, skiing, biking or cooking. Health and wellness are some of my passions.

I find great satisfaction in treating the whole person and not just their illness. Understanding a patient's unique outlook on life is paramount to providing proper care. Each patient has a voice which should not only be heard but appreciated.

Outside of work, I enjoy time in the woods; hiking, fishing and kayaking with family and friends.

Outside of work, | enjoy spending time with family and friends, going to the beach, and excercising. 

I am board certified in Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine, with clinical epidemiology training. My clinical expertise include assisting geriatric patients with informed-decision making based on risk factors and predictors of long-term functional outcomes, and implementing interventions to optimize functional and cognitive outcomes.   

Being a member of South Shore Health anesthesia department is personally and professionally rewarding. I believe having high standards of care allows for a safe and effective patient experience.

I received my undergraduate nursing degree from Boston College and my masters in anesthesia from Northeastern University. Practicing in the Boston area has been important to me as my children grow. We enjoy our friends and family as well as skiing, soccer and the outdoors.
