I grew up on the South Shore and attended Holy Cross for college where my concentration was pre-medical sciences and sleep research. During summers in college I worked as an EMT and following college I worked in a collaborative Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School lab studying allergy and asthma. While at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and Lahey Clinic my focus was on primary care internal medicine. In 2006 I was the recipient of the “Patient Care Award” which is Lahey Clinic’s highest physician honor. I joined South Shore Medical Center in 2006.

My mission is to provide excellent care to all of those in need with compassion and empathy.

I grew up in Duxbury, MA on the South Shore and attended Colby College in Maine. I then obtained my Master of Science degree at Mercer University School of Medicine in Georgia. After securing those credentials I attended MGH Institute of Health Professions for PA school, where I graduated in 2021. I take pride in getting to know each patient, their specific medical condition and then guiding them through difficult medical pathways and stressful circumstances. I enjoy my work/life balance and love traveling, workout classes, skiing, and everything wellness.

I earned my Bachelor of Science degree from Boston College and my medical degree from Loyola University in Chicago. Upon graduation from Loyola, I returned to my native Long Island to complete my residency in pediatrics at SUNY Stony Brook. Following an additional year as Chief Resident, I returned to Massachusetts to settle. Professionally, I cherish the privilege of establishing long-term relationships with my patients' families and playing a small role in assisting a child to blossom into a happy, healthy, well-adjusted adult. In my spare time, I enjoy kayaking, practicing yoga, going to the beach, and spending time with my husband and five children.
 

I want each patient I care for to feel heard, safe, well-informed and active participants in their healthcare.

Midwifery has been an (almost) lifelong passion of mine. I saw my aunt give birth to my cousin when I was 10 years old and knew instantly that caring for women and babies was what I was meant to do. I started as a labor and delivery nurse in 2011 and completed midwifery school in 2015. I have attended births in the hospital and home setting. I love caring for women in pregnancy and all other stages in their lives. In my free time, I enjoy hanging at our family beach house on the Jersey Shore, snowmobiling in Pittsburg, NH and spending time with my husband and 2 daughters. 

My mission is to give the same care to my patients as I would want for my family or myself.    

I was born and raised in the Boston area.  After a long period of schooling and training across the country (New Hampshire, Ohio, California, Pennsylvania), I have been honored to return home to take good care of my people!  When not fixing retinas, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my wife and three children.
