My mission is to educate and support patients to become knowledgeable and interactive in their medical management.

It is a privilege to encourage open communication and establish a trusting relationship with my patients.  I aim to empower active participation, fostering a more favorable outcome throughout their medical journey.

Communication is the single most important tool in medicine which I try to achieve every day.

In my free time I enjoy cooking, spending time outdoors, and being with friends and family.

It is a privilege to help people,and manage and coordinate exceptional patient care in the hospital. I believe that everyone's medical care should be individually tailored. We all have unique characteristics that need to be considered when deciding a treatment plan. Communication is paramount. Outside of work, I love reading and spending time with my family.

My journey to becoming a physician has led me not only to multiple states, but also abroad to Haiti and Jordan on medical mission trips. I am continually learning from my patients and their experiences. I translate this clinical knowledge to all of my new patients. 

Outside of work I enjoy exercising, traveling, and spending time with my family

I have been a proud member of the Hospitalist group at South Shore Hospital since its inception in 2000. I believe that patients can benefit from a dedicated group of hospital physicians who work in conjunction with the primary care physicians and specialists in the community.  

Outside of work, I enjoy most sports and outdoor life with my family on a small farm in Southern New Hampshire.

Dr. Devan grew up in New Hampshire and received a bachelor's degree in engineering at RPI. He earned his MD at Tufts in 2017 and completed his urology residency at Maine Medical Center in 2022. His focus is general urology and robotics. He enjoys developing a shared treatment plan with his patients. Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with his husband and family.
